Founder/Executive Director
He recently resigned from the police department to take a job as Pretrial Diversion Coordinator with the 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. Keith is a deacon and active member of Chalkhead Baptist Church in Ozark where he is the Co-leader of Children’s Church Ministries and also teaches a youth Sunday school class. Keith has dedicated his entire adult life to serving others and making his community a better place to live.
Prior to the new addition of Jacie to their family, Keith and Robyn were at home sleeping when a tornado struck without warning. Keith received a spinal cord injury as a result of being tossed around during the storm. Keith immediately became focused on getting his life back to some form of normalcy despite being paralyzed from the T-4 vertebrae (chest level) down. Keith was transferred to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA where he began to learn to live his life from a wheelchair. He was focused on finding ways to continue his passion of hunting, fishing and the outdoors. This sparked a new friendship with Shepherd Center’s Outdoor Specialist Greg Horneber. Keith and Greg remain friends and challenge each other to think outside the box to come up with new ways for persons with special needs to enjoy the outdoors.
